William Mason, A Rural Wedding
William Mason (1829-1908) was the son of church musician Lowell Mason and brother of Henry Mason, who manufactured reed organs under the name of Mason and Hamlin. William Mason studied in Europe where he was the first American student of Franz Liszt and Ignaz Moscheles. His "Rural Wedding" takes a lighthearted look at village life.
