Nicolaus Adam Strungk, Ricercar
Nicolaus Adam Strungk (1640-1700) was the son of Delphin Strungk (1601-1664), Organist of the Marienkirche in Wolfenbüttel and Court Organist of Celle. The younger Strungk was Director of the Hamburger Ratsmusik, Kappelmeister of Dresden and Director of the Leipzig Opera. He is best known as an operatic composer.
