George Noyes Rockwell, Melodie in F
George Noyes Rockwell (1855-1916) came from Utica, New York, and for many years was an organist in Muscatine, Iowa. His Melodie in F was published in 1912. Rockwell may perhaps be thought of as America's answer to Lefébure-Wély. Other compositions for organ included The Angelus, Adoration, Chant angelique, Alleluia, Evensong, Prayer and Response and Prelude Militaire.
