Charles King, Nunc dimittis in F major
Charles King (1687-1748) was Almoner and Master of the Choristers at St. Paul's Cathedral in London, where his choristers included Maurice Greene, Jonathan Battishill and William Boyce. He is said never to have caned any of the choristers under his care, which was most unusual at the time. The Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis in F major are his two most best known compositions.
