We come with joyful song

St. James Chapel in Pentonville, London, where Francis Linley was organist. The builder of the organ is unknown, but the casework is similar to the organ Father Smith built for Chester Cathedral and now in St. Paul's Cathedral, Valletta, Malta.

This anonymous text was sung to the tune, "Pentonville," by the blind organist Francis Linley, a student of Dr. Edward Miller of Doncaster. Linley was later organist of St. James Chapel in Pentonville, and spent part of the 1790s in the USA before returning to England and dying at his mother's house in Doncaster in 1800.
