Quintuple Chant
Robert Cooke was the organist of St. Martin's-in-the-Fields and Master of the Choristers at Westminster Abbey. Rather sadly he drowned himself in the River Thames in 1814. Before this, however, he had had the rather bright idea of taking the first two sections of Louis Bourgeois's hymn-tune "Old 124th.," reversing the order and creating an Anglican Chant (A).

This gave me the idea that one might make the whole of Old 124th. into a Quintuple Anglican Chant (B).
Dr. Benjamin Cooke (1768-1814)
