Otto Singer, Sr., Interludium for Organ
The Saxon-born conductor and composer, Otto Singer, Sr., was a student and disciple of Liszt. He came to the United States in 1869 and in 1873 moved to Cincinnati, where he composed music for the opening of the Cincinnati Music Hall in 1878. His Interludium for Organ was written for performance on the great Hook & Hastings organ in the Cincinnati Music Hall and was published by John Church of Cincinnati in 1883.
