Peter Cornelius, Geheiliget werde dein Nam
Peter Cornelius (1824-1874) was a German composer who is best known for his Christmas carol, "The Three Kings." "Geheiliget werde dein Nam" is the second in a song cycle called "Vater Unser" and based on the Lord's Prayer. This second song is subtitled "Die Sterne tönen ewig hohe Weisen" ("The stars above us tell a wondrous story.") This work was arranged for the organ by Sigfrid Karg-Elert.
