Oliver Shaw, All things fair and bright are thine Early American Horizontal
Oliver Shaw was a student of John Berkenhead (1765-1810) organist of Trinity Episcopal Church, Newport, Rhode Island. He was well known as a New England organist, college, professor and composer, and counted Lowell Mason among his students. This duet was sung at the Handel & Haydn Society of Boston on 5 July 1817, in the presence of James Monroe, President of the United States.
