Selby, Behold, God is my Salvation Early American Horizontal
William Selby was variously organist of of the King's Chapel in Boston and of St. Peter's and Christ Episcopal Churches in Philadelphia. One version of this anthem is headed: "An Anthem. By Mr. WILLIAM SELBY, Organist of the Stone [King's] Chapel in Boston, New England. Performed at the opening of the Old South Meeting House in said town [March 2nd., 1783]." Different versions differ as to whether the solos were for S.T. or S1.S2.
