Burnham, Erect your Heads Early American Horizontal
An early Canadian hymn tune, published by Mark Burnham in his Colonial Harmonist (Port-Hope, 1822), the first hymnal published in Upper Canada. Burnham was probably himself the composer of the tune. Burnham set the rhyming tune to Psalm 24 in Tate & Brady's New Version. As such it makes a suitable hymn for Palm Sunday.
