Heavenly union
The text of this carol is found on a broadside entitled Christmas Mirth: A Variety of Excellent Carols in the Bodleian Library [Harding B.7 (22)] printed in Devonport for S. & J. Keys, 7 James Street, Devonport, and also sold by W. Burridge of Truro and J. Perrow of St. Austle [sic.]. The carol tune, found set to this text in an American collection, is a particuarly pretty one.
