Tomorrow shall be my dancing day
This carol is a West Cornish version of a well-known sixteenth- or seventeenth-century English carol and was printed in William Sandys, Christmas Carols Ancient and Modern (London, 1833). I have omitted one stanza and modified another in view of their anti-Semitic character. The reference to "the legend of my play" in the first stanza suggests that this was originally part of a mystery play.
