Williams, Arise, shine!
Aaron Williams (1731-1776) was a music publisher and Clerk of the Scots Church, London Wall. He is best known for his Universal Harmony of 1763, including such well-known hymns as "St. Thomas." He published Two New Anthems for Christmas-Day and A New Christmas Anthem. I am not sure which of the three this one is. There would not have been an accompaniment, since the Scots Church, London Wall, was a Presbyterian Church, and Presbyterians did not use organs in their worship until the nineteenth century.
